It doesn't make a difference in our lives.
It's a dorky frippery with no real value to the user.
This is why it's a failure.

I live in the 1%er world.
Many (most?) people I know wore an Apple watch at one point.
Almost no one wears one now.
That's pretty damning, imo.

It has real value to this user. I've had since the original model and it's the first thing I put on and the last thing I take off every day. It's huge convenience for this iPhone user.

Apple's damned if they don't get into wearables (OMG, they have to have wearables or the sky'll fall in), and damned if they do because, pending another 5-10 years of tech dev, wearables are intrinsically problematic.

PS: I know some shit about the road map for the networking side of the Apple Watch (which is, IMO, it's biggest problem), and I think there's hope. But, we'll see.
