I mean, it sort of makes sense. This arose out of them shipping tons of packages of cards and such from their original Kickstarter project.

They're still the #1 ittem in the toy category on Amazon, years later.

And now they're doing more kickstarter board games and are enmeshed in that scene.

I just wonder if there's a big enough market for them at the scale they're targeting, and if they can make money off it. We'll see, I guess.

This is groundbreaking, magical and amazing.

I don't know about the rest of you but I like my boxes like I like my women:

Black and in the freezer.

Holy shit, that is awesome. It's almost a shame they make some product (apparently) that's not that.

gruber circlejerk:
It's $5 plus 5% of the retail price to ship 1 pound with Blackbox.

How is a 3PL company charging off of retail price? Where the fuck do they get off with that?

Look, Amazon FBA needs some competition. There's Shipwire, and a few other guys, but they're largely the "Contact us for a quote" type old-school pricing, with minimums. I thought of starting one myself, really. But FBA Multi-Channel doesn't have the nerve to charge a percentage of the retail price (because how would they know?).
