gruber circlejerk:
How the fuck do you watch that video and come out saying that Siri did quite well?

The most basic questions are asked, and anything more complicated, Siri fails more than Google Assistant.

The wayyyyy more interesting thing is that Google's Assistant is quite a bit better at contextual conversations than Siri, and that is a flip from a few years ago.

Hey DF, why are you grading on a curve?

I find it hard to believe that Google was ever worse at contextual search than Apple was.

@ass, when Siri came out in 2011, Android had voice commanding and voice-dictated search, which were pretty good, but they weren't contextually aware in any way. Siri had a number of contexts that it understood at the time, like limited time and place. You could ask, "Siri, what is the weather like now?" and follow up with "What will it be tomorrow?" and Siri would understand you meant the weather for tomorrow. Android's microphone button only understood very limited keyword scripts, like, "Navigate to PLACE," or "Call PERSON."
