The versions of Kaby Lake suitable for the MBP won't be out until next year. Unless you want them to stick Air processors in there.
GPU, what do you expect? It's Apple.
USB C is the future. A USB C port offers the most flexibility.
There will be a soft ESC key, and you can also remap ESC in Sierra.

Fuck Cook's Apple! He's been neglecting Mac and pushing iPads instead. He's inherited the most innovative company in the world and is producing NOTHING that's innovative anymore. They've been polishing the same iPhone design for years. All the changes they're making are superfluous and in "form over function" side of things. As a long-time Mac user, I'm extremely disappointed by Cook's Apple. He's the worst thing that happened to them. He's dull and boring and has no balls to release really cool things that Apple has in their labs. Microsoft's Surface announcement was truly mind-blowing. Apple's MacBook "Pro" has no useful ports, has a 2015 CPU, has a SHIT AMD GPU, soldered memory/SSD and has NO HARDWARE ESC KEY! All we're getting is a way to PAY FOR MORE SHIT ONLINE! Fuck you, Apple, for destroying the beloved MBP line! ANd fuck Tim Cook! Just fire him already before it's too late!

You realize, of course, that Jobs' greatest skill was to get his smart people to ship sooner than they wanted. And now that he's gone that gas peddle is backed way off, and in between a more comfortable releases, hungrier companies are eating the gasp quotient.
