With Pearl Rearvision, you're able to see Hillary's presidential chances quickly fading into the distance.

I wish this thing existed before I retrofit a backup cam into my car.

What we really need is a multi-OBD2 solution, though.

Let me guess: You are a precocious, "overachieving" high school student.

The internets are all like "get rid of tim cook, he sucks."

Years ago it was "apple is dying."

Progress!

If you listen to the Internets you will make bad decisions. Example:

"no wireless. less space than a nomad. lame."

But Apple IS DYING!

- First profit loss since 2001

- iPhone sales are way down

- Mac sales are down

- Apple Watch sales are way, way down and it looks like the fad is dying quick

- AppleTV sales are down as well

Every product that Apple makes has been on a downward curve this quarter.

We've not only hit 'Peak iPhone' but 'Peak Apple' as well.

You truly are the definition of idiot.

If you're not growing, you're dying.

It's as simple as that.

Why would you even CARE if Apple is dying? Are you a shareholder?

Yes. Been holding & buying AAPL for 8 years. Everything that made Apple great is now deteriorating.

this mentality is exactly what's wrong with wall street. thanks for being a perfect example of short-sighted bullshit.

hey, remember when apple was dying all through the 90s?

Flying Fuck:
• Put car in reverse.
• Pull iPhone out of laptop bag.
• Unlock iPhone.
• Flick two screens over to app.
• Launch app.
• Fiddle w/Bluetooth when it doesn't connect to cam.
• Re-launch app.
• Back up out of your driveway as you always do because nobody is walking/driving around at 5am anyway.

Yes. Been holding & buying AAPL for 8 years. Everything that made Apple great is now deteriorating.

Then it sounds like you're ready to cash out; if you bought in 8 years ago at about $20 a share then you've made 500% (not to mention the dividends). Nothing to complain about there.

If you're whole investing history is buying Apple eight years ago -- two years into the growth of the most successful consumer product in history -- you're going to need to readjust your expectations.

Face it -- you got really lucky. Apple's not going to give you those kind of returns over the next eight years. It's not Tim Cook's fault. It's just impossible to hit nothing but grand slam home runs for decades.

Luckily, there are lots of other companies to invest in. None of them are run by Tim Cook.

from that petition:
*As a shareholder, I have watched my investment drop and stay down*

i couldn't care less about your investment, and i sure hope nobody at apple does either. steve jobs sure didn't, and i'm totally fine if tim cook doesn't either. apple's business is to make cool stuff, not to make you rich.

and i say that as an aapl shareholder myself.

Let's talk about this $499 license plate bracket, that apparently is only held on by screws (surely it will never be stolen).

Or maybe it won't, because it's useless without the OBD2 plugin, hitting your knees from under the steering wheel. Have another app like Automatic that uses the port? Too bad, you only get one and splitting it is spotty at best.

I think Flying Fuck's take on it explains the experience pretty well.

Want a back up camera? Buy a car made in the last ten years.

i can't justify half a grand for rear cameras. maybe if i did more urban driving.

i could see using my old iphone 5 as a dedicated viewer for it, though.

I spent $1500 to put a backup camera on my E93 (including labor). $500 is cheap.
