Vanilla Dry Ice:
Oh, to be Apple.

Where your most diehard critics yell the loudest, yet make up about 0.00043% of the buying public, and complain about things that nobody without OCD actually gives a fuck about.

Who gives a shit about 16GB on a laptop?

I have 32GB on my desktop and 16GB on my laptop. And I only had that on my desktop because my iTunes library was so big that iTunes used 14GB of RAM. They fixed that in El Cap.

No normal user needs 32GB. Even abnormal users don't need 32GB on a laptop.

Isn't the product named MacBook **Pro**?

You're absolutely right - Intel spent MORE MONEY THAN APPLE ON R&D in 2015. But Intel is run by literal morons and their engineers are all fucking idiots who drool all day. So there is obviously no world in which Apple isn't smarter and could EASILY do a shitload better. In fact, there is no world in which Apple doesn't design their own CPU for OS X!
Except, maybe you haven't heard - a phone is not a pro laptop. So until "the shit you do on an iPhone" and "the shit you do to make a living" are the same - sounds like Intel Inside.

Hint: If Apple wants to justify the pricing of it's Pro machines, they should have used LPDDR4 instead of LPDDR3 memory. No problem using 32 GB.

Schiller claims Apple "designs for the experience." What experience is that, Phil? You are alienating the very Mac users who stuck it out with Apple during the dark days.

You can watch xHamster just fine with 8GB of RAM and 802.11ac.

If you want to go pro you can watch PornTube at 4k with 16gb of ram.

Intel???

GO FUCK YOURSELF, GRUBER!

Skylake supports 64GB of DDR4 but not in low power mode. Other manufacturers can make real laptops with Skylake that come with 32GB as base.

It's just that Apple's stuck on making their laptops super-thin so they must reduce battery and since they have non-existent thermal capacity, they have to throttle a lot and use low-power RAM.

Yeah, professionals want ARM based laptops, John? WTF is that?

Intel makes the chips. Nvidia makes the GPUs. I guess that's going to be Gruber's angle: blame it on Intel. He must have absolutely no knowledge of the current state of the PC hardware world.

Apple put a priority on a certain battery life threshold. To get this in their mobile Skylake chips with power-hungry RAM meant for some very few and very annoying buyers that believe Apple's *owes them something* would mean a much larger case, much large battery, heavier weight, and higher price. Apple made the right devision.

Guess what, LPDDR4 that will support 32GB of RAM won't happen with Kaby Lake either.

Now they haven't. Mac's now dead in the eyes of thousands influential pro users.

And you know how that will fuck up Apple? Many of these pros also make apps for iPhone.

Less Macs = less apps for iPhone

And Apple's gonna be fucked once again.

Thanks Tim & Phil!

You really haven't thought your argument through, have you?

Potential "Pro users"? Fuck them. If they don't have Macs already they won't get one just for a measly 16GB of ram extra.

What the fuck is a Pro User anyway? I'm a Pro User - I've been making money with Apple gear since 1988. I don't give a shit about your script kiddie pussy whining. You can't even fucking count that high.

Go eat your own shit, wannabe pro user. You can't even afford a mac, much less 32GB of ram.
