So he just copy and pasted the image caption? Nice attention to detail.

Shiller's a fucking marketing shill. Don't believe a word what "Mr Courage" says.
Mac's dead in Apple's eyes. Even Cook says so:
>“I think if you’re looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore? No really, why would you buy one?” – Tim Cook, talking about the iPad Pro
Apple wants you to buy an iPad Pro instead.

>I truly believe that what Schiller says above is the honest truth: iOS and MacOS are not converging, and neither are the hardware form factors.
yeah, coz Mac won't be around for long so of course they're not merging.

To Be Fair:
Does Gruber not understand that this is just marketing & PR, and that Schiller will say whatever sounds good at the time?
Of course they're not going to say that Macs should have touchscreen, *until they are ready to release a Mac with a touch screen.*
This is just like Steve Jobs saying that nobody wants to watch video on handheld devices, right before they released handheld devices that played video.

Vanilla Dry Ice:
Apple needs to like every other company and stubbornly refuse to contradict what they said 5 years ago based on market trends and direction.
Dammit, if they said 5 years ago that nobody wants to watch video on handheld devices, then they should stick to it.
Because in 5 years, while we're clamoring for Apple to release a handheld device that plays videos, they can simply point to their 5-year-old quote, and we should all go, "Uh, okay, you're right," then applaud their decision.

@Vanilla Dry Ice:
I'm not saying that Apple should change their mind. I'm just pointing out that that is what they do.
And in pointing in that out, I'm also saying that Gruber is an idiot for believing that their marketing about products today will stay true for future products.

Whoops that should be "should *not* change their mind."

1-Tim Cook has not idea how to create new interesting products with unlimited funds and one of the biggest company that ever existed in earth.
2-All the other clowns are just making money and don't really want to make waves.(Phil S, Eddie Cue, etc)
3-The courage thing was one of the more stupidest thing ever.
4-The macbook pro should be a powerful machine. You want light then get a macbook.
5-Back to one: how imbecile you need to be to have UNLIMITED FUNDS + the capacity of adquiring any company in earth + hiring anybody in anyplace in earth and after 5 years produce nothing?

Also, since when do Apple execs have to come out and do damage control interviews after major unveiling?
