what's sort of worse is that microsoft doesn't even sell excel or other apps, aside form onenote, in the app store. any clueless user who's trained to use the app store for everything will probably lose a lot of money trying to buy office and getting shit instead.

Again the problem is Apple's stupid policies. If they just allowed any app to be submitted- instead of restricting it to specific apps because reasons- this wouldn't be a problem.

Worse yet, Apple exempts itself from the policies, notably Sandboxing, which make such apps possible. The bastards.
