To Be Fair:
Yep, Hillary was wrong on that.

But maybe you should pay attention, because she's not going to be President. Trump is. And he's very much opposed to the Constitution.

jimothy:
Note, pointing out that Hillary Clinton also supports (or at least, was for it before she was against it) criminalizing flag burning is not a "two wrongs make a right" defense.

It's to show that they are both wrong, both awful on the Constitution and freedom of expression, and both strong authoritarians. It think the right is much more aware of Trump's flaws, while the left are in complete denial Clinton's flaws, which are many.

Yes, but it's no secret that Gruber supported Clinton. We had to see her stupid logo up there for how long after the election?

So the implied (and often explicit) message is, you are all ignoramuses for voting for Trump, look how awful he is! But where were the cries about how awful criminalizing flag burning is in 2005, 2006, or 2016 when the sponsor of those bills was running for President?

P.S. TBF, why can't I quit you?

Democrats, Schemocrats:
Obama already shat all over the Constitution.

At this point let's roll it and smoke it.

Fucking Democrats.

Then why focus on Hillary, who supported it 6 years ago, and is not in a position of power, instead of Trump, who is actually proposing this as a President-to-be?

The only reason that Hillary would come up, is as a distraction from Trump.

This tweet, his support for torture, and his many other anti-freedom-of-speech statements.

Have you not been paying attention to anything Trump says?

Pretty much everywhere, as the bill was unsuccessful.

Democrats, Schemocrats:
The Democrats now cling to the laws, processes, procedures, and conventions that they flouted in the past.

Fuck them all, cut off their heads and parade their heads on pikes.

Oh wait, this isn't the GoT, a show that Liberals love.

Instead, let's gloat! Where are you going to hide, motherfuckers? The wind is coming to blow you down.

"And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!"

Trump wants to eat his cake! The gall of that man knows no bounds!

Doesn't he know there are children starving in Detroit?

> The "2005 Flag Protection Act of 2005" law would have prohibited burning or otherwise destroying and damaging the US flag with the primary purpose of intimidation or inciting immediate violence or for the act of terrorism.

It was designed for terrorists only. Yes, still not ideal. But not the same thing at all.

hi:
jesus, he was just trolling. it's not a very presidential thing to do, but it's amazing the way the left freaks out.

besides, who gives a fuck if flag burning is illegal. I can live without that myself.

Steve Ballmer:
Considering Gruber has apparently turned this into a political news blog, it's notable that he didn't bother mentioning Fidel Castro's death. A guy who murdered people for differing political opinions warrants no coverage, while a guy who says "offensive" things every day has caused a diarrhetic reaction from Gruber.

>>So.... you get your news from fucking trending tweets? Yeah, that pretty much lines up with how informed you are about reality.

It explains a lot of the bullshit you write here. You probably read a lot of those fake news stories on Facebook, too...
