Good advice to get rid of multiple monitors? No, that's terrible advice.

To Be Fair:
Yeah, fuck multiple monitors. Instead of being able to just glance over at the window you want, or copy-and-paste between two applications, you have to fucking tab through them like an animal. That's so much better.

This was a pretty interesting interview but the single monitor answer was probably the most boring one. If Fried had said he used an XPS 13 for everything would Gruber have been as interested?

Also, what does Gruber's To-do list look like?

1. Drink
2. Read a dozen political blogs and one or two Apple blogs.
3. Drink
4. Copy and paste into DF
5. Write "Interesting" or "My thoughts exactly"
5. Drink

One computer? Come on, Grandads, work in the cloud – any computer's your computer, including your phone, your company's iPad, a PC in a cluster somewhere. This is like "writers" who obsess over particular pens and notebooks. Don't tie your talents to material items that can be taken away or lost or forgotten. This computer fanblog's so past it.
