Tim Cuck will be just fine regardless of how AAPL performs.

>Tim Cuck

kek'd. can't fucking wait for that shithead to be finally fired. He's worse than Ballmer.

Tim's terrible, but who would even be remotely close to Jobs in terms of vision?

Dicknose:
Great insight from Gruber.

He said more about Prince Rupert’s Drop.

The only worthy thing of this blog are the comments.

You sure about that? He seems to be pushing all this "thin & no ports" Mac bullshit. Just read the interviews and emails he's replied to. He's probably worse than Cook for Mac.

Great analysis.

Yeah I like Phil Schiller, but his instincts on the headphone jack and USB-C and shitty battery are some of the worst.

But thinking about it, if Tim Coo got hit by a bus, they'd probably put Phil in there...

Hmm

Craig Federighi is the only guy currently at Apple who would give me some hope. Of course he's not Steve Jobs, but at least he wouldn't let the Mac Pro and macOS wither and die, giving all those users and advocates pause when it comes time for them to upgrade, or recommend Apple products to friends and relatives.

Are those Phil Schiller's true instincts or did he lose an internal battle and is towing the line?

He's in marketing. He's doing his job, liberally applying lipstick to Tim Cook's pig.

Schiller is not only marketing. He runs App Stores, for example.

As to who's pushing all this "pure form over function" nonsense at Apple, I have no idea.

I can tell you one thing for sure: it's not Ive. Ive doesn't even come to Cupertino anymore (he lives in London).
