No one in their right mind listens to your show let alone needs to search it.

Stroke! Stroke!:
I'm all for ragging on the Grubes, but Jesus Christ don't you have other stuff to do?

If Underscore were smart he'd go all-in on paid PodSearch accounts for podcast authors rather than 30 new iPhone apps yer year.

I actually agree with Gruber about this. Database of searchable podcast conversations would be really cool, 'The Talk Show' included

>I really ought to pay to get true transcripts for The Talk Show

Oh, just like how he was going to remove Google Analytics from DF? Or how he was going to update the site's design to be more responsive and modern? Or how he was going to hire someone to go back and fix all the old broken links and redirect them to the Internet Archive?

Gruber talks a lot about the things he should do on DF, but somehow he never actually does anything about them.

Finally! Until we get a proper archive, does anyone remember which episode it was when Gruber was drunk and he kept leaving overlong pauses between and in the middle of slowly spoken, meandering, valueless sentences – as if his train of thought was moving so fast that he had to give everyone chance to catch up, when in fact it was going easily slowly enough for train robbers to jump on, find there was nothing of value, then jump off again – while his guest agreed wholeheartedly at five-minute intervals and ended every sentence by breathily whispering "ka-ching"?
