The article says that The Times, BuzzFeed News, CNN, The Los Angeles Times and Politico.

Clearly no news outlets were kept out of the briefing.

Fake News! Fake News!

Hey, at least he's having press conferences, not like the last guy. And anyway, all they did was suck on Obama's ass, so it wasn't much of a conference.

Love watching the left squirm. You have twisting reality so much, you don't even know what is real anymore. Well, people that trust simple science two year olds have figured out - like telling the difference between male and female - are running things now. I'm sorry that upsets you all, but the truth shall set you free.

I don't trust Trump and don't want him as my president, but it has made squirmingfireball.net very enjoyable to read.

"Everyone cheered when Obama banned Fox News..."

uhh, no, all the other press outlets howled and protested and caused the Obama administration to back down.

Also, it wasn't <sigh> a ban from the white house press briefings, it was not allowing interviews with key officials and not going on the FOX news sunday talk shows. Totally different.

Who's Hans Gruber to speak on behalf of other news organizations? Anyway, there's no 1st Amendment right for them to be invited to a WH press briefing, especially when they're engaged in fake news and distorting the truth.

"sacrilege against journalism"

Is "journalism" something that's so sacrosanct that an action might be considered "sacrilege?"

Would that be like the NYT has become an advocacy rag? Isn't that sacrilege against journalism?

What about the blind fawning over ObamaCare? What about the general lack of critical thinking over, say, homelessness?

In this day and age the idea that a reporter is an objective actor is not only naive, it's dangerous. Reporters have always slanted the story, with the limit that they needed to find someone authoritative to quote. These days there are enough "authoritative experts" to support any viewpoint.

Fuck, local journalists just use twitter as a source now, because fuck who cares?

Then there are Daily Kos foamtards like Gruber, who are incapable of thinking for themselves or even using a modicum of reason when thinking about popular events.

Nice rant. You should do that more often. I'm being 100% serious.

However at his Cpac speech a couple of things disurbed me.

Trump said anonymous sources shouldn't be used in the news. I believe there is abuse of sources. However Whistleblower protection is important.

Trump then went on to say that the safety of the american worker is important.

The best hopes I have for Trump is get the ship in the right direction before he sinks it.

this is how I know you're full of shit.

you're implicitly stating that breitbart and one America news network are real news. you know, hard hitting pieces such as "birth control makes women unattractive and crazy'. yep, I'd trust them any day.
