I liked the Boy Who Cried Wolf analogy. And the utter lack of self-awareness you showed while offering it.

Today is the day we start Trump's impeachment. I can see it on my Touch Bar.

Shake it around:
So Gruber, how did the press get transcripts of the calls that Trump made in Trump Tower?

Hey, maybe the TLAs went on a bender and "forgot" to get a warrant and/or go through the process?

Patrick Henry, the 2nd:
> “The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf” is a simple parable for children. If you keep spouting bullshit, eventually there will come a point when people will not believe you when you’re telling an urgent truth.

Which is the problem with the media. They kept calling Republicans "racist" "evil" and "fascist" without cause that people stopped believing anything they said.

About the article:

> First, the U.S. government needs probable cause, signatures from government officials and advance approval from a federal court before engaging in wiretapping in the United States.

The FISA court approves 99.75% of all requests. Its a rubber stamp.

> Second, there is no requirement that the facility being wiretapped be owned, leased or listed in the name of the person who is committing the offense or is the agent of a foreign power.

IE they can tap wherever they want. That's comforting.

> Third, government officials, including the president, don’t normally speak publicly about wiretaps.

MAYBE THEY SHOULD! Seriously this is such an awesome power, that this should be more public.

I didn't see Grubs up in arms about Obama wiretapping journalists. Because he was the "chosen one" who could do no evil.

LMAO... Gruber's losing it.

Maybe someone should remind him that Omaba bugged AP journalists too.

Which media was saying that? I don't recall it.

If they did say it, they would be telling the truth. But most mainstream media outlets were too cowardly and scared of losing "access" to confront them with the truth.

TBF, do you really not have any idea what 'racist,' 'evil,' or 'fascist' mean?

Yeah, man, Republicans really are evil and racist. Most are fascists. I'm surprised that they don't see it that way.

I'm beach heading Teaching-Repblicans, a lecture series geared at showing Republicans that they are racist, sexist, fascistic, and xenophobic. I'd appreciate the support.

We'll be hitting the media with unrefutables soon.

Warrants are not a technical pre-requisite for a wiretap, only a legal one.

That point will never come for the Trumptards in this country. They believe that everything that comes out of his mouth is the wholesome truth.

It's not surprising at all. They also suffer from cognitive dissonance and the Dunning-Kruger effect.

no, it's because it didn't actually happen.

spicer can stand there and say that obama wiretapped journalists all he wants, but that doesn't make it true. especially when the guy that was supposedly tapped says it's not true.

Maybe wiretapping was too technical of a term. "Bugging" may have been more accurate in this case.

yeah, it wasn't bugged either.

>Rosen confirmed that his phones had not been tapped, but that his phone records and emails had been obtained by the Justice department.

in other words, they got a warrant and got some call logs and emails. no one listened to his conversations.

Is that boy who cried wolf applicable to the leftist "sky is falling" crowd as well?
