Presumably that'd be illegal and likely void any death benefits entitled to his heirs (life insurance policies and so on). Take note of this section from the article:

"Under the law, he must be aware and capable of lifting the glass and drinking it unassisted."

There are probably more details beyond this part but I'm sure opiates, prescription or otherwise, would be off-limits under right-to-die laws.
