Posting stories by an avowed racist now?

I only wish Obama had spent more time on the links and less time attacking the country.

Heinz Gruber:
Shaun King? Really? I know it's Gruber and we shouldn't expect much, but I actually held him in somewhat higher esteem than this. Wow.

Manufactured racism, from any source, at any time, should never be a progressive talking point.

Shaun King... geez.

As long as the article is anti-Trump, Gruber shows no regard for the character of the source or the validity of the claims.

This is not principled opposition or even a healthy mindset.

Liberals need to reclaim their proud and honorable tradition from the likes of Gruber and King.

Remember when computers were only black and white.

Remember. Macintosh.

Well Met:
I'm not ok with it, but I'm not ok with a lot of what Trump does. Still, I wouldn't have been ok with anything Hillary did.

Make peace, not liberals:
So liberals were OK with a negro golfer, but a whitey golfer is bad?

WTF is wrong with these people?

piece of kit:
> Imagine Michelle Obama demanded to live in a gold-plated penthouse in the middle of Manhattan, costs be damned, while President Obama lived in the White House alone. The outrage would be riot-level fierce. Now, conservatives no longer care.

How is this at all wrong?

Heinz Gruber:
>How is this at all wrong?

Because it framed in a lens of manufactured racism. The constant see-sawing of what outrages liberals and conservatives when it comes to the currently sitting president has nothing to do with race and everything to do with politics.

The article is moronically stupid and you're an idiot if you find yourself agreeing with its premise.

Shaun King: Cultural appropriator, or just so damn woke?
1:24 pm — Friday, 21 April 2017
comments on here say it all.

cant see the wood for the trees. one rule for one white man another rule because the guy is black.

And no one can see how it wrong that is and they spend their time attacking the messenger instead of the message.

oh well...

Alternative theory: Democrats complain about things Republicans do, and Republicans complain about things Democrats do. Race has nothing to do with it.

@ jimothy

If America didnt have the backdrop of racial inequality for centuries I'd give you the "race has nothing to do with it" line. But it does.

The reality is that the Obama's was treated way differently than any other opposition leader. If this were a scientific experiment the only difference between his term and any other US presidents term was his skin colour.

It has only been since the 60's that black americans were officially "equal" to white people in the eyes of the law. So you are not going to erradicate 400yrs of opressive behaviour by the majority race in the US in even 50yrs.

I wish everyone would agree that there is lots of work to be done and racial inequality has not ended. It would be very helpful.

The only difference between Obama and, say, Bill Clinton was skin color? Oh please!

And please, tell me how oppressed Obama was and is.

I'll agree that there is racial inequality, but I will not agree that Obama is a victim of it. Crying "racism!" anywhere and everywhere worsens the racial tensions that remain. Perhaps worst of all, that schtick is the sort of thing that got Trump elected.

If we can agree on anything, it's that we don't need a President Trump (even if we likely don't agree on who would have been the better alternative).
