Doesn't it sound more like the Democrats, peddling Russian conspiracy theories like crack to their addicted base?

Only the progressive left could make Donald Trump the lesser of two evils.

It's time for liberals to reassert control over the Democratic Party and expunge the stain of progressivism.

I couldn't agree more.

The DNC is a fucking dumpster fire and they have no one to thank but themselves.

Fascinating insights here. Can you guys share your thoughts on whether Bernie would have won?
6:37 pm — Monday, 17 July 2017
Gruber the Booger:
@A Trained Chimp

I can't say if Bernie would have won.

But the DNC tossed him away like yesterdays diaper bag in favor of Hillary.

Who lost.

I know anecdotes are extremely obnoxious with things like this.

But I know well over a dozen people who would have voted for Bernie and instead voted for no one.

Who are me?:
The guy that runs the bodega across the street works for the mossad. Does that mean that I'm being subverted by the Israelis when I buy a falafel?

Oh wait, if you don't know that a person is a secret agent does that count?

Huh?

Trump's collusion with the Russians is very real.

It's the Trumps who are the conspiracy theorists. Trump himself was one of the most prominent "Birthers" who claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US, and now with his fascistic war or on the media, and crazy "fake news" claims.

No. Trump's collusion with the Russians is not very real. Which is why after months and months of desperately hoping for real evidence, we have none.

We need to let go of this nonsense and actually focus on meaningful issues.

Every Congressman pushing the Russian conspiracy line should be booted out in 2018. Primary them. Flip the seat. This includes my own congressman, Adam Schiff. Next to them, Trump looks like Eisenhower. They are simply unfit – and they're certainly not representing their constituents interests.

Bullshit. Have you not been reading the news? Trump Jr. himself posted evidence on Twitter, for fuck's sake.

Trump himself leaked intelligence information gathered by Israel to Russians in meetings.

And that's not counting the evidence that the intelligence agencies have, which of course, they don't release publicly.

>We need to let go of this nonsense and actually focus on meaningful issues.

it's a pretty fucking meaningful issue when the President and White House staff make deals to sell out America to foreign agents.

>Every Congressman pushing the Russian conspiracy line should be booted out in 2018.

You mean the ones participating int the conspiracy to put Russia First, and fuck over America?

So the intelligence agencies are sitting on evidence that the President and his cohorts are traitors?

I consume the same media as you. Wishing and hoping it true will not make it so.

And, perhaps more importantly, it's not the best way to unseat Trump.

You're simply letting the Democrats reveal that the current party leadership and the current party platform is unfit for government.

I get it. The election didn't go as planned. We were all shocked. But you are damaging democracy, destroying the credibility of the media and rendering a (what should be) left-of-center party unelectable.

Temperamentally and intellectually, you are indistinguishable from Trump circa 2011 with his deranged birth certificate obsession. Are you modeling yourself after him? Do you think the Trump Method for Electoral Success™ will work again and you can ride this conspiracy into the White House in 2020 on a horse named Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren?

Face it. Trump isnt going anywhere. The fact that he's still here after all the bullshit that he has around him tells you as much. He'd literally have to murder someone with his bare hands to get kicked out of the white house.

He'll only leave if he gets ill or he just doesn't like it anymore. But it will be his decision completely.

The reality is the republicans don' have anyone else that is electable or even likeable to replace him with. And the party NEEDS Trump so they can carry out their "agenda". So impeaching him is unthinkable.

My bet is he will do 1 term, leave, and watch the republican party get decimated in the next election. And then feed of the giant ego trip of how important he was to the party. Textbook Narcism.

Well, yes. When investigations are underway, they don't release the evidence they have gathered to the public.

Do you have any fucking idea how this works?

>I consume the same media as you. Wishing and hoping it true will not make it so.

it's not "wishing and hoping." There's plenty of evidence out there, and the White House has continued to deflect and distract instead of addressing it.

>I get it. The election didn't go as planned. We were all shocked. But you are damaging democracy, d

How is it "damaging democracy" to investigate foreign interference with elections, and over the White House?

It's actually defending democracy.

I agree with that bet.

But I also stand by my bet from a few days/week ago that Ivanka will be the first woman president.

The pendulum swings back and forth.

Right now we are in the back.

8-12 years and it'll be Ivanka.

If the intelligence community is sitting on this secret cache of incontrovertible proof, it might behoove to withhold judgement until that evidence has been revealed.

Do you have any fucking idea how our legal rights work? No.

You have no interest in an investigation or evidence; you have have a pro-conceived assumption of guilt, entirely divorced from any concept of justice.

And while you seem utterly bereft of intelligence or wisdom, you seem to see yourself as some kind of political junky. Yet you're fooled by blatant partisan hackery.

He's too stupid to know it was collusion, or an attempt at it. And it was illegal as fuck. Here. go educate yourself:

It's a political Rorschach test. If you support Trump, you see a victim; if you oppose Trump, you see a traitor.

The legal opinions of partisan armchair lawyers are worthless. The same goes for the legal opinions of partisan pundits.

That so many in this thread are so blind to their own biases and epistemic arrogance worries me far more than anything going on in Washington.

No, you don't. You are tallying up the ones that conform to your expectations and disregarding those that do not. Which, of course, is exactly what the other side is doing, too.

The Russian conspiracy is the Russell's teapot of politics.

And you aren't? Hypocrite. I don't need an article to translate the relevant statutes for me. Again, anyone with half a brain can tell Junior broke the law. And I'm sure you know it too but are taking a cue from your Lord and Saviour Donald Trump by deflecting and denying.

My post is pretty clear: You are no different from a blind Trump supporter. That neither of you is able to realize this is immaterial.

You cling so tightly to dogma that any deviation is a heresy. Dare to point out the fantastical nature of the Russian conspiracy? Must be a Trump worshipper!

It's not the stupidity that's so alarming. It's fervor coupled with the total lack of reflection and self-awareness.
