Alexa does the feel things I want it to well. I can't even get Siri to respond when I say 'hey siri'

"something"?

Could "something" be the fact that the entire Siri team left as soon as they legally could.

Just say it. Say it again.

It was this guy:

Eddie is good at few things. Siri, anything software or hardware is not one of them. Just let the guy hang out court-side with celebrities.

Don't ask him to do anything complicated. Don't ask him to make the product actually function and work properly.

He's much better at pressing the flesh with celebrities.

In other words, they can just fire him and be done with it.

I find Alexa responds to my commands in a variety of natural ways in increasingly impressive ways. It's never felt maddening. Siri, however, that's a different story.

How can you remain pro-Siri after admitting that it sucks?

And have you ever used Alexa? Nothing remotely like speaking command line.

"Hey Siri! Please play U2's Boy."

"Okay, Nath-an, Searching iTunes for Boy.

"Hey Siri, please play the album Boy."

"I'm sorry Nathan, but I could not find Boy in your library."

"Hey Siri! Please play the album Boy by U2."

...

"Hey Siri! Please play the album Boy by U2."

"Okay, Nath-an, playing the album Boy."

Usually five tries marks the spot.

Siri is garbage.
