Patrick Henry, the 2nd:
> Gun control legislation works — if by “works” you’re concerned with reducing deaths and injuries by homicide, accident, and suicide.

No it does not. If you look at the evidence, actually look at it, you'll see gun control does nothing for any of those categories. In fact, a recent gun control proponent did that, and came back and said she no longer supports gun control, because the data to support it isn't there.

Exactly. The issue isn't guns themselves, otherwise Canada and Switzerland would have as many mass shootings.

The issue is Americans aren't mature enough for them.

yawn:
the data to support evidence not being there has nothing to do with research into gun control being defunded, of course.

Legion of Bad Ideas:
While laws may stop the rational population from wrongdoing, they won't stop someone determined to do something untoward.

The question is, why does the left keep trying to penalize the 99% of legal gun owners who follow the law, while at the same time trying to suck the balls of the 1% of the people who are actual criminals?

Felony? Death in prison. It's not society's fault, it's your fucking fault you moron.

Break with the mores of society? Get expelled from society, period. Send them to fucking Australia like the UK did.

Because their actual end game is a full ban on all firearms.
