As the resident facebook apologist, I feel obligated to say that I've long marveled at the PYMK future and have befriended and been befriended by many people I likely wouldn't have without it.
But that said. They *definitely* need to, at a minimum, allow people to opt-out of being included in PYMK entirely. Enabling it would just mean you are never shown in anyone's PYMK. Simple fix. But of course the likelihood is that a moral panic would ensue and EVERYONE would opt-out because of over-the-top fringe-worst-case-scenarios scaremongers would write about, and then the generally useful feature would be forever doomed.
