This is exactly why I don't like FaceID. Its passive authentication, and its worse because its continuous. TouchID is active, and much better.

Face ID is merely a side effect of the notch, which is the most beautiful, the most perfect, the most desirable smartphone feature ever. In a sense, the notch overshadows the phone; the notch IS the phone. That the notch is the apotheosis of smartphone development would be self-evident if not for the fact that this is a dramatic understatement.
