This obsession with Trump cannot be healthy.

So Gruber is on Team Bannon now?
The incoherence of his anti-Trump posts are astounding. There's no consistent philosophy or worldview. It's naked tribalism howling in the dark.

Mac Pro Is Dead:
Was Fredo even "traitorous"? I think we need another correction.
He sold Hyman Roth some info or something, but without knowing it would be a hit on Michael.
Fredo was weak, ineffective, oblivious, and stupid, yeah. Not *intentionally* traitorous from my viewing of the movie. Roth used him.

"Naked tribalism howling in the dark" is a cute turn of phrase, but it's not true and it doesn't remotely describe this post. And calling Gruber's anti-Trump posts incoherent isn't accurate either; you may not agree with them, but they aren't incoherent. The main point of THIS link is the amusing correction from Frodo to Fredo.
(Gruber hasn't joined "Team Bannon", he just linked to an article where Bannon seemed to denigrate the Trump administration. I think Gruber may agree with Bannon that the Trumps are idiots, but I'm sure he still thinks Bannon is loathsome, and gives no indication he believes otherwise. In this post anyway, Gruber seems more interested in the differences between Fredo and Frodo, which is an amusing correction to have to make.)

That you can't see Gruber's tribalism or incoherence suggests you may be likewise afflicted.
The main point of the link isn't the correction, it's the association of the Trump with organized crime, internal dysfunction and infighting and Machiavellian machinations. One could say it was a dog whistle.
Gruber has no philosophy or political outlook. He has a team. His loyalty is to that team, not an idea or an outlook. He will post anything that appears to be anti-Trump, regardless of the veracity or source. And this is where his incoherence comes from. Without your own ideas, how can you be anything but incoherent?

Patrick Henry, the 2nd:
@anonymous nailed it. Gruber and his ilk are tribalist to the core.
I hate Obama and Trump (for different reasons) but they've both done good things. I doubt Grubs could say anything nice about Trump.

Maybe he’ll yet make the trains run on time.
